HOW TO GET A BEND REAL ESTATE LOAN WITHOUT GETTING RIPPED OFF:
It’s not easy, of course. In fact, I too was once completely and mercilessly ripped off by a local lender who is still in business. Boy, would I love to tell you his name! But, I wouldn’t love a lawsuit, though I hope and expect that one day soon he will be led off in irons and taken out of Bend, as the Feds have unleashed an army of investigators on the lending industry after the Sub-Prime Tsunami. Bend Real Estate and Medford Real Estate are tied with the most fraud in the Oregon lending industry, according to an OAR attorney, so it pays to do your homework in the Bend lending market.
I first want to say that I get nothing- no kickbacks, no preferential treatment, no nada, for directing you towards these folks. And I am not easy to impress. However, these two Bend lenders have impressed me, especially after I had to sell my first home due to a shyster mortgage broker who loaded the discount cash (supposed to go to the client, NOT the broker) he did not tell me about on the back end of my loan, raising my payment out of the stratosphere.
1) Carl Salvo has impressed me in an entirely new way. He explained to me, to our office, and to you if you’d like, everything about how the mortgage industry works that other lenders do not want to tell you. He told me without prompting about tools mortgage brokers use to mislead people like you and me. These are things no Bend, Oregon mortgage broker has ever shared with us. I am not so good at the explanations, but they are- so ask! Carl is experienced as an insider in the lending industry itself, and has much knowledge that he actually shares with schmucks like us!
