I really am different. I work in a family brokerage, not a big outfit. Our brokerage has been in Bend real estate since 1992, and consists of my Father, a former judge and attorney, my Mother, the consummate professional, and myself, an accredited buyers agent, with energy, extensive sales experience, and a Mensa IQ. You can ask questions of any of us, anytime you wish, no matter which of us is your Bend Realtor. I don’t have an “in-office” story about “how great the Bend Real Estate market is!” to keep straight. I don’t compete with my fellow in-office brokers, I don't collude with in-office brokers, and I don’t try to keep you away from the other agents in my office because I'm afraid they will steal you! I, and we, simply want you to get the best information you can to make an informed decision. If I do business with you this way, you will tell your friends. And they will tell theirs. And that is the simple secret of my, and our, success.

- Is a BUYERS AGENT / BUYERS BROKER ONLY, and is NOT chasing sellers and their listings instead of focusing on the buyer's needs. There are VERY FEW among Bend Realtors. Why hire an agent with split loyalties who is not a buy side specialist?
- Requires no contract until an offer is made! I allow you to go to another agent if you are not happy with me, while some make you sign up front.
- Knows Bend Real Estate well, and knows where the problem areas are
- Understands that the Bend Real Estate market doesn’t always go up and doesn’t promise you’ll make a bundle
- Is not afraid to tell you what you may NOT want to hear about a Bend Home, OR the Bend Real Estate Market in general
- Is less concerned with a quick sale than with long term client relationships
- Keeps YOU in the Loop - Communication is key, and you will have my cell number, and can call me whenever it works for you, weekends too.
- Lived in Bend BEFORE the Boom, and will still be in Bend Real Estate AFTER the Bust

I will never tell you what you WANT to hear, but I will always tell you what you NEED to hear, what you SHOULD hear, and what I would want you to tell me if our roles were reversed.
- Keep you in the loop. I will not go away. I am here as long as we are in this together, and you will have access to me before and after the sale, not just my secretary or voicemail. Communication is the linchpin in keeping my clients happy.
I am a second generation Bend Realtor, and a Bend Oregon resident since 1990. I like to help families and couples find their Bend Home, one in Redmond, Sunriver, or anywhere in Central Oregon, by serving as the sort of advocate that Bend Real Estate has not always been known for- an HONEST one. Times have changed, prices have fallen, loans are tougher to get, and the market can be both intimidating and tough to decipher. Don't make the wrong choice with your Bend Realtor- many are recent transplants from elsewhere that followed the Boom and are now stymied by the Bust. Many won't tell you the REAL deal about a Bend home because they simply want and/ or need your money.
Many Bend Real Estate agents are "Order takers"- they take your listing, or your criteria for a Bend home, and they disappear. This is a system taught to many Agents for many years. They view it as a numbers game- take as many clients as you can- BOTH listings AND buyers, and by the law of numbers, some of them will bring you a paycheck. NOT HERE- mine is a referral based business, and I count on satisfied and enthralled clients spreading the word.
